To celebrate Mandela Day tomorrow (18 July), the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) Computing Science department has created an awesome video which highlights world events that occurred during the former South African President’s 27 years in prison (see below).
Head of Department Professor Jean Greyling told SAPeople that “in celebration of Mandela Day, NMMU Computing Sciences put together this powerful 2-minute “history lesson” focusing on Mr Mandela’s 27 years in prison.”
For those who were alive and growing up in South Africa during this period, this video will be like watching their life flash before them!
