In classic Nando’s style, the fast food restaurant chain has made fun of the South African Broadcasting Corporation’s latest policy to promote their own meals.

Blocking out words like “hot” and “flame”, Nando’s latest advertisement promotes the five flavours of their chicken.

The ad is in reference to Hlaudi Motsoeneng’s policy to no longer air footage on the SABC of violent protests in the country. Many believe this amounts to nothing more than censorship and an attempt to not portray the ruling ANC party in a negative light in the lead-up to the elections in August.
