There’s a video going viral of a talented South African musician Christiaan Jacobsz. It was actually filmed four years ago in May 2013 when he was still at school… BUT the good news is that Christiaan is still making incredible musics… and will be uploading an updated video within the next week or so!
The 2013 video has already been viewed on YouTube by over 1 million people!
Christiaan told SAPeople: “This video was taken by a friend in 2013 in a classroom during break time. It was just for the fun of it.”
The former Hoerskool Pretoria student is now 19 (turning 20 on 9 May) and released his first album – an Afrikaans album entitled Die Perfekte Een (The Perfect One) – in December 2016.
“I do still use this trick in my performances,” he says. “I do covers and all that stuff. And I would love to perform more… this is one of my biggest dreams. To become a performing artist.”
At the moment, Christiaan is in his first year at Oakfields College studying Sound Engineering.
“If everything goes as planned, I will release a new video with the same trick and some more within the next week…” he promises!
