Despite some occasional – and brief – showers and one fairly exciting storm, Cape Town continues to be gripped by drought conditions… with the City of Cape Town declaring the water situation “critical” earlier this week.

Dam levels are now at 22.8% for storage levels… and with the last 10% of a dam’s water mostly not being useable, dam levels are effectively at 12.3%, the City said on Tuesday.

Adam Spires – Wannabe Vlogger – took a trip to the “frontline of the drought” to explore the current levels at Theewaterskloof Dam near Villiersdorp. What he finds is staggering…

Adam says: “DRONE captures full extent of Cape Town’s WATER SHORTAGE…and it’s not pretty. MUST WATCH!!! Please SHARE this video to raise awareness, please SAVE WATER Cape Town.”
