The Constitutional Court has announced that judgment on the Application for a Secret Ballot in Parliament – regarding a motion of No Confidence in President Jacob Zuma – will be given on Thursday!

The judgement on the Secret Ballot (UDM vs Speaker of the National Assembly) will be handed down at 10am.

Coincidentally, President Zuma is expected in Parliament at 14h00 on the same day to answer questions.

This could bring Zuma detractors closer to their #ZumaMustFall mission, although several social media commenters have noted on Twitter that even if members of parliament are allowed to vote secretly, some may be bribed.

Members of the opposition have failed in previous Calls for a Motion of No Confidence in the President, which many have blamed on the fact that until now voting was not secret.
