Stunning South African supermodel Candice Swanepoel completed her last shoot for 2013 for Victoria’s Secret today. The 25-year-old posted a picture on Instagram, holding  her prized Jack Russell Milo, with the message “My last @victoriassecret shot of 2013! What a year!!! Thank you to everyone in the vs family for an awesome year. Much love from milo and I.”

Candice, who recently wore a $10-million custom-made bra for a VS Show, was posing for the Victoria Secret Christmas Catalogue today.

Last year she was named 10th highest-earning model in the Forbes list, and recently she told Huffington Post that “some of the smartest businesswomen I know are models. There are so many beautiful girls around that you need more than that. It’s really about being smart now and turning it into a business.”

Just yesterday this businesswoman was in the Turks and Caicos Islands on a shoot. It may look glamorous and her office may often (enviably) be the beach, but Candice has a strong South African work ethic, and takes very little time off during the year.

And when she needs a break, she goes home to her “babies”, twin puppies Milo and Luna.

The puppies are seen here last week, when Candice was away and missing them. She wrote:  “NEED to get home to open this package.”

Both dogs even accompanied Candice on a snowy jaunt to Upstate New York a couple of weeks ago:

As with all South Africans, Candice was recently touched by the passing of former South African President Nelson Mandela. She wrote on Twitter “Rest in peace madiba. I pray your beautiful soul continues to look over South Africa and keep its people united. (Nkosi sikelel’ i Afrika— sound the call to come together and united we shall stand, let us live and strive for freedom in South Africa our land).”

We hope you have a great holiday Candice!!!
