PRETORIA – Alleged rhino-poaching syndicate kingpin Hugo Ras was refused bail by a  Judge of the High Court in Pretoria on Wednesday and will remain in jail, according to The Citizen.

Eight fellow accused, including Ras’ wife Trudie and brother Anton were earlier granted bail.
