Attendees were invited to bring a towel or yoga mat, good vibes and something warm for after the meditation. People were also encouraged to bring along a donation of something that could make a difference in a child’s life from clothing to lip gloss and books (for a ‘happydays’ community collection).

They say meditation has the potential to transform the world. According to the Maharashi Effect in 1978 when 7,000 people meditated over the course of three weeks, meditation was found to reduce crime rates, violence, car accidents and suicide.
