Popular South African television and radio presenter Darren Scott has posted another light-hearted message to all his friends and fans on facebook, as he spends yet another weekend in hospital, recovering from a major operation to remove melanoma cancer from his lungs.
Darren revealed this evening that he’s learnt – after discovering that he would be kept in hospital for the weekend – that he will “NEVER enter Big Brother”!
He went on to say that “going on almost 3 weeks here now, a few other things I’ve learnt…
- Ellen has 853 people in her studio audience
- Women’s tennis isn’t that bad, actually
- Don’t try and nap during a Maria Sharapova match
- I might have developed a crush on Cheryl Cole
- Vanish Formula 2 REALLY does clean stains better…apparently, and Outsurance are sending EVERYONE on holiday…apparently.
- The common gecko appears to have a new thought every 8 minutes
- Les Francken is no longer the king of mid-morning infomercials
- The same person who can’t spell at ANN7, also works at SABC News
- The down-lights in wards are all standard 8cm diameter
- They wake you up at 04:30 (am) for tea or coffee every day…for absolutely no apparent reason other than to allow you to stare at the ceiling for 2 hours, wondering…why they woke you up at 04:30.
- I need to get outta here!
