The Springbok Sevens won the inaugural Cape Town Sevens yesterday, with 22-year-old Senatla (originally from Welkom) scoring his 100th try for the team during the quarter-final against Australia. SA won that match 25-5…before going on to win the final against Argentina 29-14.
The rugby tournament – held on 12-13 December in the Mother City – was hailed as a resounding success with a sold-out crowd of 110,000 fans.
