If you’re far from the ocean today, take a virtual ride with hot young South African surfer Shane Sykes in this awesome video, ‘Silence of Eyes’, which just won the inaugural ZigZag Short Film Competition.
Directed and filmed by Steven Michelsen, the 4-minute video took about three months to make and features KZN North Coast’s Sykes shredding the waves, revealing his similarity to his childhood hero, Australian surfer Julian Wilson.
