Nothing Stops Nisha from Chasing Dreams as she Ziplines thro’ Tsitsikamma

Nisha (23) was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy (CP) at six months… and as a result is unable to walk and her right-arm has reduced functionality. At 13 she was diagnosed with advanced Scoliosis and was bedridden for a year.

But it hasn’t stopped her from living an inspiring life (with “more twists than a rollercoaster”), and dedicating her time to raising money for those who need it – whether they’re in need of water or the ability to smile.

Nisha, who’s from East London, is currently fundraising for international charity Smile Train which provides free cleft surgery to hundreds of thousands of poor children in developing countries. Changing the world-one smile at a time!

On Sunday she went ziplining with her dad at Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour for Smile Train, with the assistance of the fantastic guides at the Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour. (Watch video below.)

“It was so much fun,” she wrote. “We did about 10 slides, each more picturesque than the last and we learned so much about the trees and animals in that forest.”

She says: “Every year more than 170,000 children in the developing world are born with cleft lip and / or palate. Please help me support Smile Train’s work.”

The trick to living such a happy life, she says, is to “BE GRATEFUL. It works 100% of the time no matter how much or little you think you have.”

“Chase beautiful memories– that’s my message to the world”
