They say South Africans aren’t sissies, and a lot of pictures are shared proving our ‘toughness’ – see below… but then scroll down further to watch a Halloween prank video that shows, just maybe, South Africans can be sort of sissies sometimes…

We occasionally have baboons in our gardens and in our cars…

And they’re also not sissies!

Our signs kind of say it all…

And, as these safari tourists discovered, you should not ignore our signs! 

Even our emergency points aren’t that safe…

Our sharks are HUGE:

We can survive 28 hours lost in the Indian Ocean (well Durbanite Brett Archibald can):

We’re not scared to try anything…

We warn tourists that South Africa is not for sissies…
