Finding love isn’t as simple as planting corn, caring for cattle or keeping horses – and it’s this massive challenge that has got people hooked on Boer Soek ’n Vrou, kykNET’s hit reality series.
In the tenth season, Minki van der Westhuizen returns to help 10 farmers find lasting love. The season kicks off on a rollercoaster ride to the past, when Minki checks in with some of the farmers from previous seasons to find out how things are going, and if they’re still with the women they met through the show.
Then there’s the 10 brand-new farmers who are searching for soul mates, and as per previous seasons, they’ll receive love letters, go on speed dates, meet women in groups and eventually choose three ladies to take along to their farms.
On the farm, the women must adjust to their new environment and decide if they’re up for the challenge of being a farmer’s wife, while the farmer must carefully choose a lady who may just become a permanent feature on the farm.
New episodes of Boer Soek ’n Vrou are now available on Showmax (since Friday, 13 October), for both subscribers in South Africa, and those who live abroad.
