Cape Town photographer Josh Rubin and his family’s domestic worker, Caroline, are cheering up South Africans around the country with their heart-warming video of Josh trying to teach Caroline to drive.
Josh and Caroline have known each other since he was 10 and she came to work for the family. As you can see in the video – they have a great relationship. Apparently they prank each other a lot.
Josh told Jacaranda FM that after he got his license, she’d been asking him for lessons for years… so finally he decided to take her out in the car.
Speaking to Martin and Tumi on the radio station, Caroline said this was her second lesson. As you’ll see they almost crashed!
“Thanks God I’m still alive!” says Caroline.
Josh joked that next time he’ll take her go-karting before he lets her back in the car! The radio DJs suggested his parents could rather sponsor her to get professional lessons!
