It’s been a busy long weekend for Princess Charlene of Monaco as the principality’s National Day 2017 (Fête du Prince) has been celebrated.

On Friday the former South African Olympic swimmer and her husband, Prince Albert II, distributed gifts to beneficiaries of the Monegasque Red Cross, as is the annual tradition.

During the course of the weekend celebrations, the royal couple’s twins – Gabriella and Jacques – also played with the Archbishop of Monaco, Monsignor Barsi…with proud mom Charlene (nee Wittstock) taking many of the photos of the tea party that were published on the Palace’s facebook page.

On Sunday evening, during a live broadcast, the Principality of Monaco celebrated its national holiday with the prince’s carabiniers parade, mass in the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the appearance of the royal family on the palace balcony. (See video below.)

Princess Charlene is flanked by Albert’s sisters – Princess Stephanie on her right and Princess Caroline on her left, as her husband Prince Albert II walks towards them.
