Check out this lekker new ad in New Zealand that features a ‘mighty South Africa burger’… with an Afrikaans-speaking guy presenting the burger that boasts BBQ sauce and an option for two flame grilled patties. Watch below.
The burgers are part of a special Burger King promotion at the moment with customers able to enjoy the Mighty South African (with one juicy patty) or the Mighty South African Stacker (with two juicy patties). Oh ja!!!
BK says the new Mighty South African Burger comes all the way from Cape Town and includes “a juicy 1/3 pound Angus Beef Patty with a slice of cheese, smokey BBQ sauce, tangy mustard, red onion and crunchy coleslaw topped off with creamy mayo in our delicious corn dusted bun”. The Stacker has all the same ingredients, plus that extra patty!
Other ‘cultural’ burgers in the promotion include the Korean Sticky BBQ Burger and the French Mushroom Melt.
South African expats have welcomed the promotion – more than just a ‘taste’ of home… but a little of the ‘taal‘ too!
