Economic Freedom Fighter (EFF) Leader Julius Malema has lashed out at South African business mogul, Patrice Motsepe.

Malema warned that Motsepe is leading another form of state capture. The EFF chief commander was addressing a crowd in Mdantsane in the Eastern Cape, during the party’s fifth anniversary celebration.

Malema said that South Africa is not a banana republic and that Motsepe was not elected as the president of the country.

“South Africa didn’t elect Patrice Motsepe as a president, he must know his place. He must sit down. We are not Motsepe’s people. Patrice Motsepe is the brother-in-law of Cyril Ramaphosa and Jeff Radebe. They are captured in South Africa.”

Malema said that he is warning Motsepe: “We are watching you in the same way we watched the Guptas. Stop doing what you’re doing; it’s unacceptable. South Africa does not belong to the Motsepe family. There is a new capture here.

“It’s led by Patrice Motsepe and the Ruperts. The Ruperts are using Trevor Manual, they’re using Pravin Gordhan. Then Patrice is using his brother-in-law, Cyril, and Jeff Radebe. We are watching you – Patrice, you must ask Guptas about us…

“Patrice, you have made your money, stop being greedy.”

During his address Malema also praised the imprisoned AbaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo.

“I want to give a special shout to our revolutionary King who is in prison – King Dalindyebo you are with us in spirit. The criminals have locked you in prison and the real criminals are roaming the streets here in Nkandla. Those are the people who are supposed to be in prison not our king.”
