REEVA STEENKAMP’S LAST IG POST

Reeva Steenkamp’s last Instagram post was on 10 February 2013 – just four days before her death.

Referencing gender-based violence and the gruesome death of Cape Town woman Anene Booysen, she shared: “I woke up in a happy, safe home this morning. Not everyone did”.

Just a few days later, South Africa would wake up to the tragic news of Reeva’s death.

According to Pistorius, he shot and killed his girlfriend after mistaking her for an intruder.

However, during his high-profile trial, the court heard evidence of how the former Paralympian was jealous, hot-tempered, and trigger-happy.
