Happy Heritage Day back home, everyone. It is a mixed bag across South Africa today, with plenty of sunshine for the inland provinces as Gauteng, the Free State, North West and the Northern Cape all enjoy partly cloudy skies. The coast is cooler and wetter, with fog settling over Cape Town, slight rain in Gqeberha, and showers and thundershowers rolling through Durban, while Limpopo and Mpumalanga can also expect a rumble or two.
Mahikeng and Kimberley are the warmest at 30°C, while Bloemfontein starts the coldest at just 9°C. Durban looks the wettest with its thundershowers. Do note the veld fire warnings for Thohoyandou and Musina.
