Siwelele reject Euro offer to hold on to rising Amajita star

Siwelele have no plans to sell their rising star to any team ahead of the January window after rejecting an offer from Europe.

Siwelele FC have reportedly rejected a European offer for rising Amajita star Siviwe Magidigidi.

Magidigidi is a 20-year-old attacker who impressed at the recent FIFA U20 World Cup in Chile.

Amajita were knocked out in the Last 32 with the attacker netting two goals for South Africa during the tournament.

Now, iDiski Times reports that Magidigidi is a wanted man in Belgium with K. Beerschot V.A keen on him.

Beerschot have not only registered their interest but they also submitted a bid which was rejected by Siwelele.

SIWELELE REJECT BEERSCHOT BID FOR MAGIDIGIDI

“Amajita star Siviwe Magidigidi has seen a potential transfer to Belgian club K. Beerschot V.A. blocked by Siwelele,” reads part of the report.

“Sources have confirmed Beerschot tabled an initial offer which included a potential sell on fee, but have been informed the player is not for sale ahead of the January window.”

WHO IS SIVIWE MAGIDIGIDI?

Magidigidi is an exciting attacker whose talent was nurtured at Ubuntu Academy before his switch to the now defunct SuperSport United.

He made his PSL debut during the 2023-24 season, featuring nine times for SuperSport United.

This season is proving to be Magidigidi’s best as he has already scored four goals in 12 matches for Siwelele.
