South Africans Abroad: Chivaviro nets his SEVENTH of the season
Ranga Chivaviro is doing the most for Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Adalah, and he has now scored six goals in his last six matches.
South Africa striker Ranga Chivaviro continued to make a name for himself in Saudi Arabia this past weekend.
Chivaviro was in the starting line-up as his team, Al-Adalah SC visited Al-Orobah in the Saudi First Division match on Saturday.
And the Al-Adalah jersey No.10 was again impressive as he opened the scoring in the first half.
The two sides – Al-Adalah and Al-Orobah – went on to settle for a share of the spoils as the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
SOUTH AFRICANS ABROAD: CHIVAVIRO SCORES HIS SEVENTH GOAL FOR AL-ADALAH
The goal against Al-Orobah took Chivaviro’s tally to SEVEN since joining Al-Adalah in September 2025.
These seven goals came in 17 appearances; an impressive return given that Chivaviro is still adapting to life in Saudi Arabia.
Impressively so, the former Kaizer Chiefs has now scored six goals in his last six games for Al-Adalah, including a brace against Al-Raed a few weeks ago.

IS THE 33-YEAR-OLD KNOCKING ON THE BAFANA BAFANA DOOR?
Bafana Bafana have a goalscoring problem with Lyle Foster the only reliable striker in the current setup.
And perhaps, Chivaviro’s form could twist Hugo Broos’ arm in selecting him ahead of the FIFA World Cup in June.
However, age coupled with the fact that Chivaviro has never been in the Bafana Bafana setup could be a stumbling block.
