A new chapter of conflict between the United States and Iran

In late February 2026, long simmering tensions between the United States and Iran escalated into open military confrontation, marking one of the most serious geopolitical crises in recent years. What began as strategic posturing and indirect confrontation has developed into direct strikes, retaliatory attacks, and rising fears of a broader regional war.

For decades, relations between United States and Iran have been strained.
