Nedbank Cup: Two chairmen/coaches into the semifinals!
This year’s Nedbank Cup semifinals will feature two chairmen/coaches from both Casric Stars and Milford FC in what will be historic.
The 2026 Nedbank Cup tournament has been different to the previous ones with all the Big Three teams already out.
Dubbed a ‘Cup of Dreams’, teams from lower divisions have shown just how badly they want to win this trophy.
Casric Stars pulled the unthinkable when they ousted Orlando Pirates in front of their home fans a few weeks ago.
They have done it again, this time, beating another Betway Premiership side in AmaZulu on Saturday.
Later on the day, Sekhukhune United welcomed minnows Milford FC, and they were beaten 3-2 on penalties.
This after the game ended in a 1-1 draw in regulation time before extratine was required where the match ended in a 2-2.
