eThekwini Municipality welcomes complaints, as reports about faults and crime are expected to increase over the festive season until the beginning of the next year.

Complaints and questions submitted to the municipality allows for better awareness, and it’s easier for the municipality to fix the immediate issues they’ve been informed of.

Many holidaygoers are visiting eThekwini this year, and local areas are attempting to prepare for the influx of visitors during December.

Water outages and crimes are some of the things that visitors and locals are encouraged to report over the festive season.

Issues with electricity should be reported to Eskom, the country’s national electricity provider.

ETHEKWINI MUNICIPALITY OVER THE FESTIVE SEASON

The municipality expects an increase in activity over the festive season, for which the local authorities have started to prepare.

Police visibility is meant to be increased during this period, and local emergency services (including ambulances) are on high-alert for any potential emergencies.
