Social media has called TikTok user @anelepadipe2 a ‘lotto winner’ after the video of his R10 000 KFC wings order went viral.

But what would you really buy with your jackpot winnings?

The South African looked at some of the buys from SA lottery winners.

‘LOTTO WINNER’S’ R10 000 KFC WINGS

User @anelepadipe2 went viral on TikTok for his buy of R10 000 worth of KFC wings.

South Africans were quick to call the mystery buyer a ‘lotto winner’, while others wanted to know if they were hot wings.

R72 MILLION POWERBALL FOR ‘THE SOFT LIFE’

The first Powerball jackpot winner for 2023 said she would use her R72 million winnings to treat her family.

According to The South African, the 28-year-old planned to buy a home and car first. She also said that she was going to “travel to France and other European countries as a family.”

R232 MILLION POWERBALL BUYS BETTER EDUCATION

A R232 million Powerball jackpot winner said he would spend his Lotto winnings on education for his children.

The 50-year-old winner from Cape Town was still going to remain at his “blue-collar job”.

A first year of tuition can cost as much as R65 000, according to The South African website.

R8 MILLION FOR A NEW CAR AND HIS WIFE BACK

A Gauteng lottery winner in 2021 reportedly wanted his wife back after winning R8 million Powerball jackpot.

She reportedly left because he ”didn’t have enough money”.

He was also planning to buy a new car and save for his children to study at university.

R25.5 MILLION LOTTO WIN PAYS OFF DEBT AND BUYS PROPERTY

A R25.5 million Lotto winner from Paarl said he was going to pay off his debt and buy property with the money.

The man walked away with exactly R25 564 050.40 after buying his ticket at Pick n Pay, according to The South African website.
