South Africans are applauding Chicken Licken for featuring legendary soccer coaches Gavin Hunt and Jomo Sono in their latest advert titled #UndefeatedSinceForever.

INSIDE GAVIN HUNT AND JOMO SONO’S ADVERT

The fast food chain restaurant’s latest advert, which stars Gavin Hunt, Jomo Sono and soccer commentator Thato Moeng has reached nearly a million views on Twitter after Chicken Licken shared the video on Monday, 26 June.

The advert starts with a man Jose Mercibeaucoup, who is a multi-award-winning head soccer coach. Everyone is impressed with him, including Jomo Somo and Gavin Hunt and nobody knows his secret formula to winning so many games.

“How does Jose keep doing it like this, the best coach by far!”, everyone keeps asking.

Jose, who is a foreign coach in Mzansi also reveals that South Africans are so in awe of him that they’ve given him a South African name Jose Mazibuko.

SOUTH AFRICANS REACT TO CHICKEN LICKEN AD

@MpeshSithole: “Nando’s could’ve came up with this idea but they were beaten to it. Considering that Nando’s is a sleeve sponsor for AFC Richmond on Ted Lasso, and coach Ted has quite a similar story with coach Jose but lets see how they respond to this one.
