Cuba Gooding Jr has been hit with two sexual assault lawsuits
American Oscar winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr has now been hit with two sexual assault lawsuits from two women.
On Wednesday, American actor Cuba Gooding Jr has been with two lawsuits from two women who are seeking damages for the emotional turmoil they endured when the Oscar winning actor allegedly groped and forcibly kissed them on separate occasions in New York City.

‘WITHOUT CONSENT OR PERMISSION’
According to the NY Post one of the plaintiffs “somewhat naively” agreed to wait on Gooding Jr.’s table at the LAVO nightclub on the evening of the 9 September 2018, after her coworker allegedly complained that Cuba had previously exposed her to “inappropriate behaviour”.
The filed court documents noted that the woman was serving the actor’s drinks when he “without consent or permission put his mouth up to Plaintiff’s and forced his tongue into her mouth”.
The new lawsuit also noted that Cuba Gooding Jr who is 55 years old pleaded guilty to a downgraded charge of second-degree harassment related to the incident as part of a sweetheart deal in April 2022.

CUBA GOODING JR FACES A SECOND LAWSUIT
In the second lawsuit, the plaintiff Kelsey Harbert accused the actor of placing his hand on her leg and then groping her breast at the Magic House Rooftop Bar & Lounge on the 9 June 2019.
Cuba was allegedly “intoxicated” and in full view of his girlfriend when he ignored Harbert’s attempt to remove his hand from her breast and tried to kiss her hand, the complaint mentioned.
Harbert also filed a police report, and Gooding Jr. was arrested for forcible touching four days later, the court papers say.
The incident was later included in the actor’s 2022 plea deal where Gooding Jr admitted in court that he subjected her to “non-consensual physical contact”, the lawsuit noted.
Kelsey Herbert and the first plaintiff are now seeking jury trials for damages related to “lost wages, emotional distress, punitive damages, liquidated damages and attorney’s fees” that they sustained as a result of the actor’s behaviour.
Attorneys for Cuba Gooding Jr have not commented on the two lawsuits.
