Did DJ Zinhle just diss her bestie, Pearl Thusi?
DJ Zinhle and Pearl Thusi have been serving best friend goals for some years now, so it cams as a surprise when the DJ dissed her bestie.
Once upon a time, Queen Sono star Pearl Thusi and musician Zinhle Jiyane aka DJ Zinhle were the ultimate friendship goals.
For the year or so, however, the pair haven’t been serving as much friendship content as they have in the past. In fact, Zinhle recently left many of her followers speculating about the state of their friendship.
This is after sharing a slightly shady video about friendships and how to handle it when a friend suddenly distances themselves from you. She also added how sometimes there is relief that comes from the end of that relationship.

Friendships come and go – especially here in South Africa amongst celebrities who often fall in and out of friendships with each other.
It looks like another friendship may have hit the dust and it’s one that many people were not expecting.
DJ Zinhle recently left many wondering what’s happening between her and Pearl THusi who appear to have drifted apart over the last few months.
The pair who have left many green with envy as they showed off their friendship goals, don’t post each other as frequently and are now even throwing shade on TikTok – or at least Zinhle is.
Taking to her TikTok, Zinhle shared a video asking people about friendships and what to do when a friend suddenly distances themselves from you.
In the clip, she also added how somehow the distance sometimes comes as a relief.

“Some people leave thinking that you are going to chase them, but you are also not so sure about the relationship. So now the person thinks they have that power over you, but they never did, you were just being kind,” she said according to a Briefly News article.
Many instantly wondered whether or not the video was meant for Pearl but she quickly denied it.

“People outgrow certain relationships or associates. In most cases it’s not hate or beef it just people wanna grow and evolve and you being present in their life hinders that growth,” one person said while another wrote:
“This is directed to Pearl. She needs to stop forcing this friendship. Clearly, she’s the one who has been forcing it. Especially now that she’s a DJ, jealousy, and intimidation are creeping in.”
“But it always seemed like Pearl was the one reaching.. like she wanted the relationship more than Zee,” a third added.
