Prince Edward reunites with his wife after touring

The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward has reunited with his wife the Duchess of Edinburgh, Sophie after a two-week royal tour.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward has finally reunited with his wife the Duchess of Edinburgh, Sophie after returning home from his two-week tour.

PRINCE EDWARD’S TWO-WEEK ROYAL TOUR

Prince Edward who is the King’s youngest sibling landed at London’s Heathrow airport from Indonesia on Sunday, the 26 November.

Edward two-week tour in Singapore started on the 14 November, where he attended a reception for the Commonwealth Games Federation at Swissȏtel the Stamford.

As a result of his two-week tour this meant that the Duke of Edinburgh unfortunately missed King Charles’s private birthday party at Clarence House.

Despite missing his brother’s birthday festivities Prince Edward continued his travels visiting New Zealand and Australia as part of his royal engagements.

THE DUKE AND DUCHESS REUNITE

The Duke also made a stop at the City of Sydney Police Citizens Youth Club in Woolloomooloo, a suburb in Sydney and attended a luncheon at the Royal Prince Edward Yacht Club

According to Hello Magazine the Prince also launched the Australian Award’s new online platform for assessors at Scots College and was among the many guests for award supporters at the Parliament of New South Wales.

It was also reported Prince Edward also flew from Sydney to Indonesia, where he visited the British School Jakarta, and the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Nusantara.

Edward and Sophie’s reunion was quite sweet and short because the Duchess is reportedly set to travel to Colombia from Tuesday 28 November to Friday 1 December, at the request of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.

According to the media outlet Sophie will be undertaking engagements in Bogotá and Cali in support of the Women, Peace and Security Agenda (WPS), and will be supporting survivors of sexual violence, as well as the rights of women and girls.
