Twickenham is about to witness something special – a sea of green and gold transforming SW London into honorary South African territory for the afternoon.
This Rugby Championship decider has brought together South African expats who’ve made London home, passionate fans who’ve travelled thousands of miles from the Republic, excited Pumas supporters ready for battle, and of course, the English rugby faithful who know they’re about to witness a proper Test match – the kind that reminds them what real rugby looks like!
Electric atmosphere
With the Springboks needing a bonus-point victory to seal back-to-back Rugby Championship titles (something they’ve never achieved before), and Los Pumas still smarting from that 67-30 thrashing in Durban last week, the atmosphere is going to be electric.
There will be more biltong in SW London today than in Boksburg.
The stage is set. The Boks are ready. Twickenham is about to become Bok Town for the day. What an incredible afternoon of rugby awaits!
