Weight Gauteng Western Cape Kwa-Zulu Natal
750-1 000 kg R408 R372 R474

WHAT IF I FORGOT TO RENEW MY CAR LICENSE?

If you missed it, you have a 21-day grace period to renew an expired car license. If you miss that, you’re liable for a late licensing penalty fee. The late renewal penalty is calculated at one tenth of the annual licensing fee per month. The longer you leave it, the more expensive it will become. So even if you’ve missed the grace period, you should still renew it as soon as you can.
