The 61-year-old actor recently expressed his desire to keep making movies well into his 80s, reports BuzzFeed. He described wanting a career like Harrison Ford, who still enjoys a fun movie career at 80. Mission Impossible first premiered in 1996 and saw the actor debut character Ethan Hunt. Couple that with one of the most recognisable theme songs, and the rest is history. The movies have become so iconic in popular culture that they have inspired many shows and movies.

Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning is part one of what seems to be the last leg of the franchise. With Rotten Tomatoes critics singing its praises, it’s bound to delight fans. With Tom Cruise still performing stunts and doing his signature running towards the mission, it will be another box office hit for the actor who previously dominated the charts with Top Gun: Maverick.
