ORLANDO PIRATES TO RELEASE GOODMAN MOSELE?
As previously reported, the 23-year-old Mosele is demanding to play football matches. With two more years on his deal with Pirates the former Baroka FC star submitted a transfer request after just 15 appearances last term.
New reports say the club is readying a loan deal, with Gqeberha the most likely destination.
“Orlando Pirates are set to send midfielder Goodman Mosele on loan for the duration of the 2023/24 season, SABC Sport has established,” SABC Sports’ leading reporter Mazola Molefe reported.
“In an attempt to get his career back on track with regular minutes, the midfielder is set to be loaned out and Chippa United are the likely destination – this move will depend on the agreement between the two sides.
“The public broadcaster understands there has been discussions between Pirates and the Chilli Boys to that effect, although nothing has been made formal as yet, which does leave the door open for another potential suitor,” the report added.

PATRICK MASWANGANYI MODELS ARSENAL STAR
Staying with Pirates, one of the club’s new players, has revealed which player he loves to watch on SuperSport 203.
Maswanganyi, who plays his football wide on the right or left, scored on debut in a friendly against Maccabi Tel Aviv before finding the net again in the match against Ecuador’s Independiente.
Additionally, the same player scored again as Pirates defeated TS Galaxy on Sunday afternoon.
“I really enjoy watching Martin Odegaard, who plays for Arsenal, I think he plays really well,” said Maswanganyi, as quoted by FarPost.
“Most of the time, I try to emulate his style, particularly how he’s able to find spaces in the pockets, how he turns and position himself. I really admire his style of play,” the new Pirates attacker added.
