How does it cost you to get your daily caffeine fix? Wec ompared the price of coffee from the top coffee shops to get a better idea.

Since coffee beans first arrived on South African shores in the 1800s, Mzansi has been passionate about getting its daily caffeine fix.

The coffee culture in the country continues to evolve at record pace with the opening of more and more speciality coffee shops and cafes.

The ever-growing number of choices provides more opportunities for coffee-lovers to enjoy a cup of their favourite brew.

Cafes have become increasingly popular gathering places, providing a space for people to catch up with friends, do business, or just enjoy some alone time.

In light of this, The South African website looked at how prices compare across eight of South Africa’s most popular cafes.

For the comparison, we looked at the price of a ‘tall’ americanocafe latte and cappuccino.
