eThekwini Municipality to enforce 10-hour water supply interruption
The eThekwini Municipality will shut down the Isipingo Hills Reservoir for 10 hours to perform maintenance work.
The eThekwini Municipality will shut down the Isipingo Hills Reservoir on Thursday, 29 May, to perform planned maintenance work.
The municipality has scheduled the 10-hour maintenance to run from 8:00 to 16:00 on the same day.
Ethekwini Municipality schedules 10-hour water supply interruption
The metro municipality announced it will conduct maintenance to enhance water flow from the reservoir to residents and businesses across the City.
Since the Isipingo Hills Reservoir supplies other key reservoirs like Isipingo Beach and Athlone Park, the shutdown will also impact those areas.
As mentioned above, the shutdown will commence from 8:00 to 18:00 on the same day. Thereafter, the system will begin to recover, the eThekwini Municipality said.
