Broos: Pirates sent me ‘a nonsense’ text regarding Mbokazi
Hugo Broos is unhappy with the attitude of both Mbokazi and Orlando Pirates after the player reported late for camp.
Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos is furious with both Mbekezeli Mbokazi and Orlando Pirates.
Mbokazi was supposed to report for camp on Tuesday but it later emerged that he missed his flight from Durban to Johannesburg.
Now, Broos said he was informed of Mbokazi missing his flight by Abdeslam Ouaddou, who was also furious.
And then drama ensued as Pirates, not publicly known who from the club, sent a text which Broos described as nonsense.
Broos felt Pirates were trying to protect Mbokazi than expressing their dissatisfaction as a professional club.
He reminded the media of his own previous comments that South African players are unprofessional.

BAFANA BAFANA IN CAMP FOR AFCON
Bafana Bafana are in Tshwane as theyp prepare for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon).
They will then play a warm-up match with Ghana on Tuesday, 16 December before flying out to Morocco for the tournament itself.
Bafana Bafana will play Angola, Egypt and Zimbabwe in the group stages before the end of the year.
