The film exposes the dangerous realities faced by those who challenge powerful forces for the greater good. It draws inspiration from real-world events.

Its gripping narrative and socio-political relevance have already ignited conversations within the industry. The movie has been positioned as one of the most impactful films of the year.

“The film’s selection as the Opening Night feature at ADIFF NYC is an incredible honour. It underscores the importance of African stories in global conversations about justice, corruption, and the power of whistleblowers.”

Festival-goers will also have the opportunity to engage directly with the story during a special Q&A session with the director on Opening Night.

“I’m excited to have received the invitation to present the film to a New York audience and discuss its impact,” Gabriel added.
