After news of his death broke, numerous WWE legends and superstars shared tributes to Hulk Hogan on social media.

Fans and fellow wrestlers have continued to pay tribute to legendary WWE star Hulk Hogan, who died at 71 on Thursday morning.
Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, launched his wrestling career in 1977 and shot to global fame in the early 1980s. He became WWE’s top star for a decade, headlining nine WrestleMania events and capturing 13 career titles, six of them under the WWE banner.

Hulk Hogan died of cardiac arrest, according to reports. Emergency responders rushed to his Clearwater, Florida, home after a 911 call reported a heart-related emergency.
Clearwater Fire & Rescue treated him on the scene before transporting him to Morton Plant Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead at 11:17. Earlier this month, rumours swirled about his health as he was hospitalised for ongoing neck and back issues.
At the time, his representative insisted that Hogan’s condition wasn’t life-threatening.
Following the announcement of his death, many WWE superstars and legends took to social media to pay tribute to the man known as “Hulkamania.”
“WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans,” the World Wrestling Entertainment posted.
