THE PLANNED POWER OUTAGE IN JOHANNESBURG IS NECESSARY

The utility company assures residents that the planned outage is necessary to minimise the risk of unexpected power failures in the future.

“The interruption is necessary to do essential maintenance work on our network which is part of our program of constantly striving to provide a better service,” said City Power.

Although the supply could be restored at any time, customers should treat their electricity supply points as live to avoid accidents.
