Takealot recently revealed plans to launch additional Pick n Pay delivery pickup points across South Africa this year.

Takealot is ramping up its focus on convenience this year by expanding its network of delivery pickup points across the country.
According to BusinessTech, the online retailer announced plans to roll out additional Pick n Pay pickup locations, aiming to reach 36 by the end of 2025. Takealot has already increased its network to 30 Pick n Pay pickup points nationwide.

According to the company, the service has taken off since it was trialled at the supermarket back in 2023.
The pickup service allows customers to collect their online orders while doing their grocery shopping, eliminating the need to wait at home or track delivery vans.
Between February and May 2025, Takealot recorded a doubling in collections at Pick n Pay locations. These pickup points now process over 14 000 parcels a month and serve more than 45 000 unique customers.
Each pickup point is conveniently located near the customer service kiosk in selected Pick n Pay stores. Customers select a participating location at checkout, receive a pickup notification, and collect their orders during regular store hours.
The online retailer will add six more points before the end of the year.
