The City of Cape Town’s Urban Mobility Directorate has announced the temporary road closure of Pandoer Street, situated between Jip de Jager Drive and Kommandeur Street in Welgemoed, Bellville. This closure, effective from Friday, 16 February, until Saturday, 20 July, forms part of the ongoing upgrade of Jip de Jager Drive into a dual carriageway and aligns with the City’s Congestion Management Strategy. During this period, the City advises motorists and pedestrians to seek alternative routes. Facilitate access to Jip de Jager Drive via Dragoon Avenue, Jorgensens Avenue, and Van Riebeeckshof Road, or through Cameronians Avenue, Wylant Street, Chavonne Street, Murray Street, and Jameson Road.
