WHY MEGHAN MARKLE SKIPPED KING CHARLES VISIT

Grant Harrold, the former butler of King Charles, claims that the reason Meghan Markle did not join Prince Harry on his trip to the UK is because it was something he had to do alone. Prince Harry arrived in London on Tuesday 6 February, and had a 45-minute meeting with his father, King Charles following his cancer diagnosis.

“Meghan made the decision that it was best to stay home with the children, and maybe she feels that this is something Harry has got to do alone,” Harrold said according to the New York Post.

“It’s his father. She’s aware of the close relationship and probably encouraged him to come over,” Harrold continued.

KING CHARLES SEEN FOR FIRST TIME SINCE CANCER DIAGNOSIS

Sky News reports that King Charles was spotted for the first time at Clarence House with Queen Camilla as they were taken by car to Buckingham Palace. The King and Queen then flew by helicopter to Sandringham.

This came after King Charles met with his youngest son, Prince Harry for 45 minutes, after the Duke of Sussex travelled to the UK, following Charles’ cancer diagnosis.

Prince Harry lives in Montecito, California with his wife, Meghan Markle and their two kids – Prince Archie (4) and Princess Lilibet (2). The couple relocated to the US after they stepped down from their duties as senior working members of the royal family in 2020.

People reported that King Charles personally told his two sons – Prince Harry and his older brother Prince William, about his cancer diagnosis as well as his three siblings – Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.
