Bad news for some Bafana fans

All the attention is on Bafana Bafana this weekend. The challengers are neighbouring minnows Eswatini. Is SABC showing the game?

South Africa’s Bafana Bafana team return to the green grass this evening against Eswatini in a friendly runout. There’s bad news if you have no internet or satellite television.

FIXTURE: BAFANA BAFANA VS ESWATINI

Following last month’s bland and disappointing friendly against Namibia (0-0) and DR Congo (1-0 win), Hugo Broos’ men are ready to show us more goals.

In what will be a pair of friendly, Bafana will begin the first test against Eswatini on Friday evening at 18:00 from the FNB Stadium.

Bafana will then travel to West Africa to face AFCON 2024 hosts Ivory Coast in a friendly next Tuesday in Abidjan at 21:00.

Sadly, SABC has revealed that the broadcasting will only be available on digital platforms.

THE SQUAD

*Percy Tau has withdrawn for personal reasons, while Monnapule Saleng has been forced out by illness. Their replacements are Mduduzi Mdantsane and Khanyisa Mayo.
