Boost for Bafana Bafana as Ngezana shrugs off injury with a goal
Ngezana scored his first Europa League goal for FCSB as he prepares to link up with his Bafana Bafana teammates for AFCON.
Bafana Bafana have received a huge boost ahead of the start of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with Siyabonga Ngezana back on the pitch again.
There were concerns over Ngezana after he suffered injury in FCSB’s previous match against Dinamo Bucaresti.
He limped off the pitch after just 45 minutes in that 0-0 but it appears the injury was not too serious.
Ngezana‘s injury was somewhat a cause for concern for Hugo Broos and Bafana Bafana as he is in the final squad for the AFCON.

BAFANA BAFANA RECEIVE NGEZANA BOOST
Now, on Thursday night, Ngezana returned to the starting XI for FCSB as they took on Feyenoord FC in the Europa League.
The 28-year-old announced his return with a goal as he opened the scoring in the 11th minute of that encounter.
It was first Europa League goal, which proved crucial as FCSB went on to beat Feyenoord 4-3 on the night.
FOCUS SHIFTS TO AFCON
Ngezana will now fly to South Africa to link up with his Bafana Bafana teammates in preparation for the AFCON tournament.
Bafana Bafana are in Group B alongside Angola, Egypt and Zimbabwe, and they are one of the favourites.
But before then, Hugo Broos’ side will play a warm up match with Ghana on Tuesday, 16 December.
Kick-off at Dobsonville Stadium is scheduled for 16:00.
