Caf Confed Cup: No Kaizer Chiefs matches at FNB Stadium
Kaizer Chiefs still have to host both Zesco United and Al Masry in the Caf Confederation Cup but their Gauteng fans will have to travel.
Kaizer Chiefs have decided against playing any of their remaining CAF Confederation Cup matches at FNB Stadium.
On Tuesday, Amakhosi announced that their two home fixtures in the competition will be played outside the Gauteng province.
Chiefs will host Zesco United in the return leg on 1 February, and that fixture is scheduled for Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Their final home game of the Caf Confederation Cup will be against Egypt’s Al Masry, and that encounter will take place at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium on 8 February.
Chiefs only played one Caf Confederation Cup fixture in the Gauteng province, and that was against Angola’s Kabuscorp.
The other fixture which was a second leg against Simba SC was played at Dobsonville Stadium as the FNB Stadium was not available.
