Another Kaizer Chiefs legend Tefu Mashamaite feels the current squad lacks confidence but says they must sweat for redemption.

Tefu Mashamaite feels coach Molefi Ntseki’s side has no confidence, especially after their 1-0 loss at the hands of Cape Town City last week.

After the loss, a lot is said about Chiefs and Ntseki’s coaching credentials, but Mashamaite states that hard work will redeem the club.

Additionally, the Limpopo-born legend believes Chiefs must fight and work harder for them to return to winning ways.

The decorated former Bidvest Wits and Chiefs central defender argues that redemption will need lots of energy from the team – they have suffered four losses so far.

“They will have to work hard to get results that will give them back their confidence,” Mashamaite said in Durban.

“They must start now and focus their minds on working for a good result.
