LOVE FROM HIS RUGBY ‘BROTHERS’

On the eve of Du Plessis’ title fight, there had been an outpouring of support, with Springbok players also sharing messages with the MMS superstar who also passionately supported the Bok side when they claimed the World Cup title in France.

“I know I’ve got a lot of messages of support, and maybe some people think that I don’t see them, but I really do notice and appreciate each and every one. Whether it’s the Springboks or just a normal fan, it all makes such a difference and motivates me so much to have that kind of support. But of course, it is incredible to have the giants that are the Springboks coming out to share messages with me. That’s every young kid’s dream come true.

“Thank you so much to everyone who has made this dream and moment even bigger and better. I won’t disappoint come fight night, I will make this all worth it.”
