Durban City have re-appointed former Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp as their Technical Director.

Middendorp returns to his old position after he abruptly left three months into his initial appointment.

His return collides with the appointment of Sinethemba Badela, who will lead the team as head coach until the end of the season.

Middendorp’s working relationship with Farook Kadodia is well-documented having had three stints with the club as head coach.

Durban City confirmed Middendorp’s return on their website, saying the veteran mentor will provide strategic oversight across all football operations.
