Ex-Chiefs coach sends Kaizer Motaung a “special message”

Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Muhsin Ertugral took to social media to send birthday wishes to his former boss Kaizer Motaung.

Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Muhsin Ertugral posted a special birthday post to his former boss Kaizer Motaung.

The Amakhosi founder turned 79 this week and many football fans, clubs and players took to social media to send their wishes to Chincha Guluva.

This week, Ertugral acknowledged his former boss. The Turkish coach had two stints at Chiefs but his first one was memorable after winning four trophies in one season back in 2001.

“Some people are special. Every time we spend together is a life lesson. They shed light not only on football but also on the country with their humanity. Happy Birthday, President,” said Muhsin on X, formally known as Twitter.

With Kaizer Chiefs struggling this season under Molefi Ntseki, former Black Leopards and Chippa United coach Vladislav Heric has urged Amakhosi to give Ertugral another chance.

Under the Turkish coach, the Glamour Boys won six trophies and Heric believes Ertugral can do a good job with this young Chiefs squad.

“Muhsin Ertugral can do a great job with this Chiefs team, he likes aggressive football. Chiefs should consider him because most of the players there have pace and Muhsin loves that,” the Serbian coach told Soccer Laduma..

“What I like about Muhsin is that he doesn’t allow nonsense on the field; he only works with hard workers,” concluded Heric.
